Has a hard and thick undercoat. This alert and plucky dog was developed especially to catch
the foxes that caused so much damage to farmers' chickens and livestock. He was bred to have longer legs than most terriers
which he does. This dog can also be adaptable to city life, provided he gets plenty of exercise running or wandering.
He's most interested in being with his owner, and wants to give his owner a good-natured and loving companion. This breed is brave and tenacious, and occasionally stubborn. Its great with children tho!If
socialized early, this breed can get along well with other pets. The coat may need to be plucked occasionally
but must never be trimmed. This dog loves to run and play outdoors. It can adapt to being limited to
three short walks a day, but will be unhappy in doing so.That's ALOT of walks!
